5th Grade Culmination

San Rafael Upper Playground Area

Parents will enter through the San Miguel gate beginning at 8:45 AM.

If siblings will be attending the ceremony, please have them arrive with you at that time.

All 5th grade students must report to their maestras at 8:15 AM to prepare for theevent.

Following the culmination ceremony, a small celebration with light refreshments and picture opportunities will take place in front of the school.

Important Reminder:

To ensure all families have the opportunity to sit and enjoy the ceremonies, we kindly ask that seats not be saved during the Awards Ceremony or Culmination.

Awards Ceremony:
9:00 AM - San Rafael Auditorium

All students and parents are invited to attend.

5th Grade Picnic:
Lower Playground Area

The picnic will take place immediately following the Awards Ceremony and is for 5th grade students and parents only.

Please RSVP by May 29th to Erika Peralta at peralta.erika@pusd.us so we can provide an accurate count for the caterer.

Parents are welcome to take their students home after the picnic concludes.
Picnic end time: 1:00 PM

Come enjoy a fun-filled 90s Bowling Night with music, laughs, and friendly competition. It’s the perfect evening to connect with other Panda families, relax, and have a great time with our San Rafael community. Dust off your favorite 90s style and get ready for some fun.

National Bike to School Day

National Bike to School Day

As part of National and Pasadena Bike Month, San Rafael is excited to celebrate Bike-to-School Day on May 15! We invite all families to join in this healthy, eco-friendly, and fun way to start the day. Families can participate in a morning group ride led by SRE parents Wesley Reutimann and Phil Burns. Riders can meet at Brookside Park Playground (near Kidspace Children's Museum) at 7:15 a.m. or at La Loma Bridge at 7:35 a.m.

If you’re not along the route, we still encourage you to walk or bike to school! We’re also looking for volunteers to help hand out prizes to students who participate, as well as anyone interested in leading a ride from another direction.

Be sure to RSVP and get more information, we’d love to see our Panda families rolling in together!

Greening Volunteer Appreciation Event

THANK YOU for all your support over the past 5+ years!

As a small token of appreciation for everyone who has generously given their time to help improve our campus, we will be hosting an informal Volunteer Thank You Event on Saturday, May 2nd from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Food and refreshments will be provided, and we kindly ask that you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Feria de San Rafael

Join us for a fun afternoon at the Feria de San Rafael on April 25 from 12:00–4:00 PM! Filled with games, delicious food, music, face painting, crafts, and more. A FUN time for our Pandas and the entire family.

We invite our amazing Panda parents to be part of the fun by helping with a grade-level booth, game, craft, or food station, or by volunteering during the event.
